HG Electrical is led by Cameron Hawker-Guilford and based in Whanganui, serving local homes and businesses with a focus on the customer's experience.
Why he started it
Over twelve years, Cam's work took him from industrial plants to commercial sites, new builds and family homes. In the later years of that career he was running his own jobs, taking responsibility for them from the first call through to the finished work.
That experience showed him what customers value most. They want to know who is responsible for their job, to be able to ask questions without hesitation, and to trust that the work has been thought through for the long term, not only for the day.
In 2023 he started HG Electrical around those principles. Customers deal with the person accountable for the work, and every job is approached with the property's future in mind.
